| With a CCD 2/3" sensor of 600,000 pixels, the Canon RC-760, marketed according to the Canon archives in February 1988 for 590,000 yens, was an evolution of the RC-701 presented two years ago which had the same definition, but allowed only BW photos. On these SLRs, the lenses were interchangeable ones: the standard lens 2/11-66 could be replaced by a 2.8/50-150, a 1.8/13-52 and a wideangle 1.8/6. Canon FD (manual focus) lenses could also be fitted thanks to an adapter. The shutter 1/8 to 1/2000s with X at 1/80s gave the program and aperture-priority modes, but it could not be adjusted manually. The white balance was automatic or could be set manually. As with other cameras of this period, the Canon RC SLRs used the flopyy diskette as recording medium for 25 or 50 images. Only a very small number of the Canon RC were sold. This render of a puppet rocker shows somewhat crude and very saturated colors and is by far not the best one done with this camera. L’objectif de ces reflex était interchangeable : le standard 2/11-66 pouvait être remplacé par un 2,8/50-150, un 1,8/13-52 et un grand-angle 1,8/6. Les objectifs Canon FD, non autofocus, pouvaient aussi se monter à l'aide d'une bague adaptatrice. L’obturateur 1/8 à 1/2000s était synchronisé sur X au 1/80s et fonctionnait en mode programme ou en priorité à l’ouverture mais pas en mode manuel. La balance des blancs était automatique débrayable. Comme les autres appareils de cette période, le RC-760 enregistrait sur floppy disquettes pour 25 ou 50 vues. Il ne fut produit qu’en tout petit nombre. Cette photo d’une poupée de rocker est assez fruste, avec des couleurs sursaturées et n’est pas, loin s’en faut, la meilleure image qui ait été faite avec cet appareil. |
